
Biography
Dr. Karyn Eilber is one of the few board-certified female urologists in the Los Angeles area that is also board-certified in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) as well as being a certified menopause practitioner. Dr. Eilber received her medical degree from the University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine then completed her urology residency and fellowship at UCLA. After fellowship, Dr. Eilber joined the Department of Urology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center before returning to her native California. She joined Cedars-Sinai in 2010 and is a Professor of Urology and an Associate Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She served as the Chair of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Group Department of Surgery and Site Director for the Cedars-Sinai/USC URPS fellowship until 2026 when she transitioned to private practice.
Dr. Eilber's clinical research focuses on female pelvic disorders and sexual function. She has published multiple articles and given numerous presentations at national and international meetings. She is co-author of "A Woman's Guide to Her Pelvic Floor: What the F*#@ Is Going On Down There?", a founding physician with Monarch MD, a physician in residence with the Atria Health and Research Institute, a founding medical partner of Doctorpedia, helped develop Femetry supplements for bladder health, and frequently speaks out on women's pelvic health and hormonal issues.
